Cancellation Policy

1)       All refund cancellation requests must be made in writing. Participants who fail to provide written notice will be assessed the full amount of the registration fee.

2)       All cancellation requests received within 25 working days of a session will be fully refundable with the deduction of a $50 administration fee per participant (*see provision #9)

3)       All cancellation requests received within 20 working business days of a session will be refunded 50% of the session registration. (*see provision #9)

4)       All cancellation requests received within 15 working business days of a session will be refunded 40% of the session registration.  (*see provision #9)

5)       All cancellation requests received within 10 working business days prior to a session will be refunded 20% of the session registration. (*see provision #9)

6)       No refund is issued for cancellations made less than 10 working days prior to a session. (*see provision #9)

7)       No refunds will be honored post-session date. (*see provision #9)

8)       No refunds will be given for incomplete attendance. (*see provision #9)

9)       If prework materials have been issued to a participant refunds will not be issued for completed materials or for materials that are deemed, by Parallax Ventures, to be non-reusable do to “wear and tear”. These materials may be transferred to another scheduled event if taken within 6 months. Otherwise, new materials must be purchased and reissued for attendance to the newly registered event.

10)   Parallax Ventures is not responsible for any nonrefundable travel costs if unavoidable changes in scheduling occur.

11)   Courses with insufficient registration may be cancelled at the discretion of Parallax Ventures. Participants will be notified at least 48 hours in advance, by phone, fax, mail or e-mail and will receive a full refund.

12)   If a session is cancelled for unforeseen events (e.g., natural disaster, instructor illness), the seminar will be rescheduled. Participants will be credited to take a rescheduled session. No refunds will be given.

Parallax Ventures takes attendance at our session very seriously. We believe that full and committed attendance impacts the entire educational experience for all participants. We will take all measures necessary to assure that the sessions we conduct reflect a high level of committed and enthusiastic involvement by all who participate.

1)       We do not give out telephone numbers, addresses, credit card information or screen names unless you authorize us to do so, for example, during an online purchase.

2)        If you purchase products such as prework materials or books, we do not give out this purchase data to others.

3)       We use state-of-the-art secure technology and privacy protection controls to safeguard your personal information.

4)       If you complete a questionnaire or survey on our website the information will be held confidential and private. All data is entered into our confidential data base as part of a composite source for ongoing research and norms groups. No individual data is identified.

5)       If you are a subscribed member of our learning community at Parallax, we will keep you informed about what we do with your personal information and we will advise you if we change our policy.

Credit Card Transactions:  

Credit card transactions are processed by PayPal.com, a professional payment authorization service chosen for added security and reliability.  Only the purchase price and the credit card information provided by the customer are supplied to PayPal.com.  Information collected during transactions is maintained in their database for accounting and billing purposes.  Information from these transactions is not released to third parties.
