Each of us has unique
gifts and talents that enable us to achieve our goals and contribute
to the world in our own way. Research suggests that success in life
is greatly enhanced by further developing our strengths as opposed to
minimizing or “fixing” our weaknesses. In this 1-day workshop
participants explore their individual strengths, gifts and talents and
how to best apply them in current or future life and work environments
Planning
Your Next Life Chapter With Intention & Purpose
Like a book, our
lives are comprised of numerous chapters, each of which depicts a significant
period that differs in an important way from the chapter that preceded
it. Moving from one chapter to the next typically involves a major life
transition. These transitions sometime occur as the result of conscious
intention, but often are the result of external events, that propel
us into a new life chapter. Often, we only come to understand the reasons
for the transition when we are well into the new chapter. This 1-day
workshop is an introduction to the natural Adult Cycle of Renewal that
provides a model for understanding the transitions and transformations
we make during the course of our lifetimes. Participants develop a “life
plan” for the next twelve months.
Renewal
and Reinvention
Albert Einstein
observed that the definition of insanity is “doing the same thing
over and over again and expecting a different result.” All too
often we find ourselves wanting to change something significant in our
lives but, for a variety of reasons, nothing happens. Between procrastination,
lack of courage, a shortage of self-confidence, a clear idea of what
we really want, or a plan for achieving it, nothing changes. In the
meantime, we live unfulfilling lives and are often frustrated by our
inability to move to our desired goals. This 1-day workshop provides
participants with the knowledge and tools to create a plan for renewing
and reinventing themselves. This is an ideal workshop for anyone making
a career transition, leaving a full-time career, or venturing into an
entrepreneurial endeavor. Anyone anticipating “re-entry”
into the world of work, will also greatly benefit from attending this
workshop.
